What is Soutache?

Soutache is also referred to as "Russian Braid". It is a common element in the French art of passementerie. It can be curved and shaped into many patterns; it is incredible light and it will adapt to the wearer´s body.

Amazing, uh? I would love to learn to make jewelry using Soutache!
While the time comes, let´s see a tutorial:

Me encantaría aprender a hacer bijou usando Soutache!

You could be making your own sofa now... just this simple!

I have been craving for a sofa for a very long time. If I had seen all these amazing ideas before, I would have had one in a blink of an eye ;)
Now I have made a sofa with my own bed, so it could be used not only for sleeping but for watching movies or just relaxing with family.

But, hey, you still need one?
Let´s take a look at what I have just found in Pinterest!

A chic vase for tiny flowers

I have found this amazingly easy project to help you decorate your home with style, and with super cheap materials!

What do you think this vase is? Just a simple glass votive candle holder and a balloon, the color of your choice. Let´s see how you get it...

First cut off the top of the balloon. It is important to leave the narrow part of it so it can be used later as the neck of the vase.
Slip de cut ballon over the votive vase and pull out the opening or push it inside...

And voilá! A new chic vase for you tiny flowers :)

DIY: A fresh idea for a little chair

Some time ago I have bought for my son a plain little chair and a table of his size for multiple uses :)

Of course it was my idea when I brought them home (almost a year ago) to paint and decorate them with a fun style. Well, it took me ages, but I finally found the time -as one of my New Year´s resolutions- and put brush, acrylics & varnish to work!
